Danièle Dion joined the Journal's Editorial Board in 1998. Now a partner in the Montreal law firm of Brisset Bishop, she previously served for more than a decade as counsel in the Admiralty and Maritime Law section of the Canadian Department of Justice in Ottawa. An expert on information technology as it relates to maritime navigation and commerce, she currently serves as the chairman of the Legal Advisory Committee of the International Hydrographic Organization. Ms. Dion holds a B.A., LL.L., and LL.B. from the University of Ottawa and an LL.M. from Dalhousie University.
