Martin Davies is the Admiralty Law Institute Professor of Law at Tulane University and Director of Tulane's Admiralty Law Center.  Previously, he taught at the University of Melbourne and served as consultant to solicitor firms in West Perth and Melbourne. Professor Davies is the author of several books and numerous scholarly articles about maritime law and conflicts of law. His teaching is in the areas of admiralty, international sale of goods, and torts.  He has a B.A., B.C.L. (both with first class honors), and M.A. from Oxford University, and an LL.M. from Harvard University.
